Cookies and browser storage

Until you enable the “Analytics” category, the website sets no cookie at all — neither its own nor third-party — and sends no request to Google or any other external service.

In no state does the website use advertising networks, tracking pixels, social media buttons or other tracking tools. Fonts are served from our own server.

The only entry the website may place in your browser's local storage is your own consent choice:

Entry name: hatalyx_consent_v2. Purpose: to remember the choice you made in the consent banner so you are not asked again on later visits. Content: three boolean values (yes/no) per category. Duration: kept until you delete it or change your choice.

This entry is technically necessary for the consent mechanism itself to work and contains no personal identifier. It is not sent to the server and is not used for tracking.

Before you make a choice in the banner, the website stores nothing in your browser.

If you enable the “Analytics” category, Google Analytics 4 loads and sets its own first-party cookies on the hatalyx.com domain:

_ga — distinguishes browsers so a returning visit is not counted as a new visitor. Typical lifetime is 2 years from the last update.

_ga_<property id> — stores the session state for the specific GA4 property. Typical lifetime is 2 years from the last update.

Lifetimes are set by Google and may change on the provider's side; the actual expiry is always visible in your browser settings. These cookies contain no name, contact details or message text.

No advertising cookie is set under any circumstances: advertising consent remains permanently denied.

If you withdraw consent, further collection stops and the cookies above are deleted from our domain.

You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the site.

You can also delete the stored entry through your browser (by clearing site data). The banner will then appear again on your next visit.

Independently of browser storage, the hosting provider's infrastructure may automatically record service entries about requests to the server in order to keep the service running and secure. See the Privacy Policy for details.
